More exposure for Minnesota artists!

KVSC has invested part of our Legacy Arts grant to get you even more access to Minnesota musicians and artists.  Visit MNL on Demand where you can get your fix of classic Monday Night Live performances anytime you want it!  More than 40 episodes of MNL have been uploaded to our site--going back to September 2006.  More episodes are being added, so start watching from the top with the 18th season from spring 2010.  Each episode contains a short bio of the band and links to their website and/or Myspace page.

KVSC Playlists in Realtime and Archive Search

Do you have a song stuck in your head you heard on Your Sound Alternative? We play a lot of catchy songs from independent and local artists, so that happens from time to time. No need to worry though. We provide a feature that gives you access to current songs and archived playlists.

Located in the "Listen Live" player on the upper right of all KVSC.org pages, you can see who's on the air and what artist and song is currently playing.  Also, if you click the host's name you can view their profile.  If you click the track name, you can view the entire play list in real-time via spinitron.com. 

The archive link gets you to all playlists by all hosts.  Try it out for yourself!

Ever wonder whose voice that is on the radio?

While listening to your favorite program on Your Sound Alternative, have you ever wondered who the voice is behind the microphone? That's a great question! KVSC attracts more than 70 volunteer deejays, so it can be hard to keep up. To see who is hosting your show of choice, check out our Program Guide. PODCAST: Holocaust Survivor Henry Oertelt

KVSC.org presents an original production--the amazing journey of Holocaust survivor Dr. Henry Oertelt.  The entire podcast series is presented in episodes of the 18 critical events that led to Henry's survival of five Nazi concentration camps and a three day death march.  Henry Oertelt's compelling book, "An Unbroken Chain" was recorded and engineered at the KVSC studios.  KVSC is sincerely honored to be the audio archival source of Dr. Oertelt's eternal message of hope and dignity.
