Food Safety Awards Announced

Two local food venues are being recognized for their dedication to food safety. Rocori High School in Cold Spring and El Portal restaurant in Melrose are being rewarded for their food safety work. Both venues are receiving a plaque recognizing their accomplishment and formal recognition by the Stearns County Board of Commissioners.
The Food Safety Awards are presented annually to one school and one restaurant in the county for their work in doing an excellent job in promoting food safety in their facilities year after year.
